Meet the Team
Christian Busch, CFO (Chief Fun Officer) & Director of Sales
Christian, aka Little Monkey or Little Monk, is a young man with Down syndrome and a traumatic brain injury (TBI). In May 2020, Christian was hit by a van while riding his bike. His accident required an extensive stay at MetroHealth (103 days in an inpatient care setting) followed by outpatient rehabilitation services. Christian continues to work on his recovery. He graduated from Brecksville Broadview Heights High School in 2022 and completed a program in sales and services at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center in 2023.
Christian loves being called Little Monkey, Little, Monkey, Monk, Monko, and Mono. Little Monk currently lives in Brecksville with his mother, Marti, and his dog, Lucy. He loves any excuse to celebrate others.
10% of all proceeds will be donated to Christian's favorite charities:
- Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio - supports families with individuals with Down syndrome in Northeast Ohio through advocacy, and social and educational programming
- PALS Program - creates inclusive camp experiences for people with and without Down syndrome
- MetroHealth - Local Level 1 Trauma Center. The life-saving care they provided enabled Christian to become who he is today.
Marti Neff, Director of Logistics
As Christian's mom, Marti assists with scheduling and transportation. While Christian will work every event, she will be your primary contact to make arrangements. She will also be present at each event to support Christian.
Courtney Steigmeier, Director of Operations and Marketing
As Christian's sister, I assist with the website and marketing. My husband and I are also the creators of Christian's nickname, Little Monk. Christian calls me Medium and my husband Big. We are all Monks.
